Customer Reviews for Bullet Cable Coil Bullet Instrument Cable
Feature: Cable is very heavy. Not recommended for use with acoustic guitars. Bullet ends seem to only be a gimmick. Don't notice any relaxation of coil as advertised.
Quality: Would prefer if the outer jacket was made of light weight rubber instead of heavy PVC (plastic) but the cable is very well made.
Value: Good coiled cables are hard to find, but this is a heavy and very overpriced instrument cable.
Desirability: As mentioned, too heavy for acoustic guitars. It weighs down the end pin jack and shorts out the signal. Can't be havin' that. For sure you'd have to nail down any floor pedals or they'll be all over the place. Additionally you would have to secure the cable to your guitar and amp so it doesn't pull out. I sent the two I bought back in disappointment.
Sound: Don't notice any significant difference between this and other cables
Support: Zzounds is a great store, fast shipping and good customer service. Can't deal with cable manufacturer as they don't sell retail.
Overall: May be good for real heavy guitars like a Les Paul or Rick bass, but I think you'd still have to secure the ends so they don't pull out of your amp or guitar when you stretch the coil.
