Customer Reviews for Danelectro DJ1 Pastrami Overdrive Effects Pedal Quality: the underside of the pedal is hard tighten correctly with just your fingers, put if you use your keys or something, it fits just fine. there were no blemishes, but the freakin battery died the day i bought the pedal. its a completely solid pedal for its size. Value: this was the cheapest effect ive ever seen, and as far as im concerned, its one of the best sounding. Sound: With my combo amp (marshall) on the clean channel, and all the knobs at 6 besides middle and bass, which are at 3, the overdrive gives you a great sound, thick enogh for a good rythym, and enough sustain for lead.
