You do need to replace speaker connections.I tried the Fender version, and it doesn't compare. Use it for what it's designed for, and it can't be beat. Quality: The Kustom stickers on the mixer and speakers want to peel off, but no biggie. When they eventually fall off, so be it. Still will sound the way I want it to. And will give my room for a customized logo... Value: Can't beat it with a stick! Desirability: Does everthing I need, at a price that can't be beat... forget the Fender version... try this! Sound: Use it in my home studio for recording, and small clubs for vocals only. Amazing sound for such a small package. Support: I haven't had to deal with them yet. But my set is only 6 months old... time will tell. Overall: Can't see having to replace this, unless Metallica hires me as the rhythm player... and that ain't happenin'!
